Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect the info we need to book your appointment and process payment, nothing more. We don't sell your data to anyone. Stripe handles payment info — we never see your card number. You can ask us to delete your data anytime.

2. What we never collect

We do not collect: Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, biometric data, health records, or political/religious affiliation. We do not require government-issued ID to book a service.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is performing. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may not work correctly.

5. SMS and email

When you book an appointment, you'll receive transactional messages (booking confirmation, reminders, changes) by SMS and email. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of marketing messages anytime by replying STOP to an SMS or clicking unsubscribe in an email — but you'll still get booking-related messages because they're part of the service you signed up for.

6. How long we keep data

Active account data is kept as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we retain limited records (transaction history, tax records) for up to 7 years to comply with IRS and Texas state requirements. Anything not legally required to keep is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, encrypted-at-rest databases, and least-privilege access controls. Payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI Level 1 certified) — we never see or store card numbers on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data the same way we'd want ours protected.

9. Children

Loc'd In is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we've inadvertently collected a minor's data, email privacy@locdin.net and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
